ALL TOP PLACES COVERED
The beauty of this trip is that it allows you to catch the island's must ride locations which are so famed. Be sure not to miss a ride to brag about on Strava!
In the high season the amount of carbon per square kilometre here is insane. Especially loved by roadies, Mallorca has become the hottest European destination, and for a reason. Places like Sa Calobra or Cap Formentor are sacred for many riders and on the wish lists of even more. Others think that the place is too crowded and look elsewhere. Both might be right but one is for sure – Mallorca is dead awesome place for riding, as well as spending a week or too seeing around and just relaxing.
Mallorca's weather is a dream, especially among UK cyclists! The climate can get hot in the summer, so you will have to get up really early to have a fresher ride. In the winter and early spring, expect ocean winds and a chance of a few rainy days.
Terrain is one of the reasons why Mallorca is so popular among the vast variety of cyclists. The island is generally rolling hills with the exception of Tramuntana. Take on the mighty and famous rides like Sa Calobra, or take it easy and enjoy the hills of the rest of the island.
Mallorca's language is very similar to Catalan and they share a lot of the same culture. But there is definitely a unique taste to it. Despite the infamous mass resorts, Mallorca is authentic if you know where to look. Go to local restaurants, often the further from the sea the better.

There's even more to discover on your trip.
Sa Calobra is Mallorca’s main gem in terms of cycling and arguably the most challenging climb on the island. If you come there for a week (who would go to Mallorca for even less at all?) then you better hold off Sa Calobra for midweek - first to get in shape and second - well, just don’t rush to the main dish! Getting in shape will just make you enjoy this amazing ride much more. But be sure, whatever your plans are, the day you’ll head to Sa Calobra is going to be The day.More
Day 1 & 2
Can Joan Capó - Rural Boutique Hotel 4*
Can Joan Capó is a traditional Majorcan home that’s been transformed into a romantic four-star boutique hotel. Each of the ten guest rooms has its own character and most of the furniture has been handmade. The hotel is the perfect choice for those who are looking for peace and quiet, good food, a special something and a personalised service.
Once the Capital of Mallorca, Sineu sits practically in the middle of the island so it’s a great place to explore the inland region of Mallorca which offers great variety and charm. On Wednesdays they have the farmers market that have been running from the 1300’s and it’s quite cool thing to watch with the whole town dressing up for it, live music if the weathers fine, and lots of local products and even animals for sale. Really remarkable, so hopefully with your arrival day we could fit a Wednesday so you can enjoy this cultural highlight of Mallorca.
Day 1 will be an Arrival day. We will arrange a transfer to Sineu (35 minutes) where we will met you review the itinerary, have a safety and logistics briefing, bike fit and hopefully, depending on the time of your arrival, you can go for a quick 20-40 Km loop ride around Petra, VilaFranca and Sant Joan with an optional climb to Bonany Hermitage.
